Owners, Michael and Jessica Harrison have been married for 10 years and have 3 children.  Michael is a lifelong resident of the CSRA where he grew up in Thomson and attended Thomson High School.  He attended college in Athens at Gainesville College and then transferred to Georgia Military College, where he met his wife, Jessica. They are a very active family involved in activities at their children's school Briarwood Academy as well as coaching and volunteering with the many sports that their children participate in.

Michael worked with his father at a very young age in the construction industry. This is where his love for building began. He built his first house at the age of 18 along side his father, and from there his passion to build homes was born.

 

Professionally, Michael worked in commercial and healthcare construction for 8 years as the Project Engineer over Quality Assurance for the Corp of Engineers at Fort Gordon. Along with being a Master Plumber in both Georgia and South Carolina, obtaining numerous commercial contractor certifications, and then obtaining his General Contractors License, Michael decided it was time to take his passion for building to the next level. That is when CK Grant Construction began.
